New Account Experiment

I created a new account on Instagram and TikTok on April 4th, 2026, to test if a new account would perform better than an inactive account in the middle of revival.

Background: My main account, @mimei.mimo, saw a drop in engagement (down to 9%) during a hiatus. I was curious if a new account or re-posting on the old account would lead to better engagement.

Hypothesis: A brand new account on IG and TikTok (@mimei.media) would bring in at least 9% engagement through the end of posting on the accounts for 30 days straight.
